The Combat S-kilt is a fusion of kilt and British army
combat clothing. Old style button down belt loops allow
a very wide "stable belt" or 58 pattern webbing
belt to we worn with ease. Wear the pockets at the side
for the true combat look - on patrol or harboured up in
the bar.

Sizing
Please measure your waist size at the place you would like
the waistband to be. Do not assume that the sizes in your
trousers are accurate ... they usually flatter.

Features
The following features are consistent across Combat S-kilt
fabrics (click on thumbnail to enlarge):
The Combat S-kilt is a wide apron contemporary
kilt with single direction knife pleats and detachable
pockets
It fastens with velcro at the waist and is held
in place by a belt (not supplied). Because of the
method of closure the skilts can be made as small
as required and accomodate flexing waistlines
Each s-kilt uses in the region of 5.2 meters (5.7
yards) of fabric. All the pleats are individually
sewn and will never fall out
The 'reverse pleat' on the right hand side is extra
wide. Note that there are no buckles or straps.
Pockets can be worn on the sides or 'sporran style'
at the front
Or you can buy a sporran (not supplied) and wear
that instead. Note that a belt is always worn as
this covers the velcro on the waistband and makes
sense of the large belt loops
The pockets are a massive 20cm wide - big enough
for books and beer bottles. This photo shows the velcro
that the pocket sticks onto prior to being held in
place by a belt
Buttons are made from very high quality Corozo, the
nut of a South American palm tree
