Sarongs are traditional garments worn by men around the world.
They have many names and are known as a 'kanga' in East Africa,
a 'kikoi' in South Africa, 'sarung' in Indonesia and a 'pareo'
in Hawaii. Sarongs are often made in colourful batic prints and
are great for the beach ... but a little too 'Beckham' for most
of us to want to wear in town.
The 'Skarong' takes inspiration from the sarong and fuses it
with highland and military influences. By adding large cargo pockets
and using heavier fabrics the Skarong can be worn all year round
and is a practical, casual and stylish alternative to a kilt.
